Surprise! Three posts today!
As you can see, I use red pencil to mark the blood. It's way more noticeable in sketch form than on Nestle's red-orange fur. x3
Also surprisingly, I think Nes's expression looks more intense after inking and coloring than here - that's a first! xD

One trick I used for this page was changing the shading in the bottom two panels. The two drawings are nearly identical, but I changed the shading a lot to give the feeling that Nes slightly adjusted/turned his head. Effective, isn't it? :3

Since it was a minor color edit, I added colors for the alternate version too. I only had to adjust the mask slightly and the eyes/mouth colors. :3 But the alternate version doesn't have the custom comic text or the cleaner lines.

This is the sketch I used for inking! I put the coach's dialogue in orange for the sake of clarity. Also the blood looks a lot more severe here than it does fully colored lol. Fortunately Nestle's fur color kind of hides it a little bit.
I'm pretty happy with how Nestle's expression in the first panel turned out!

As you can see I changed a couple of things here! For one, I altered the coach's dialogue slightly. This didn't feel very natural to me upon re-reading it later, so I split the dialogue up and re-wrote it to something I felt was better!
