My favorite part of painting always used to be rendering. But ever since i got the iPad I started having so much more fun with sketching. Somehow it feels easier, more intuitive. I guess having the option to turn the screen any direction does a lot. Also the tilt and pressure control makes it faster :)

I tried a different approach to this painting. More painterly with no sketch outline to better control the colors and values straight from the beginning. Hello everyone! I am officially back on track! I was saving money for an iPad. And today is the day I finally have it in my hands! Eeeek! Can’t wait to explore all the new features and possibilities.
