2019-01-08 10:32:59 +0000 UTCRelated to above - why don't companies negotiate with wrestlers before the expiration, sort of like how sports teams negotiate extensions. While this pseudo "offseason" in wrestling with lots of transactions has been pretty fun, and probably will be even more fun as more stuff comes out, it seems like companies are setting themselves up not locking down talent longer.
