He's not appeared on WWE programming, or traveled with WWE since his WrestleMania 35 loss to Kofi Kingston. Usually in the case of a rough injury, word gets around pretty fast. In this instance, there hasn't been much, if any, chatter coming our way about his status one way or another.
Fightful Select learned a couple of hours before WWE Smackdown that Daniel Bryan had not been seen backstage throughout the day. He's advertised for a dark match on the show, but would typically be at the arena by now if he were competing in it.
