Flip Gordon- NJPW update

"Flip's Certificate of eligibility got lost in the mail so he couldn't apply for a new visa to work BSOJ. He was supposed to go back to Japan for Honor Rising in Feb, but the knee injury caused him to miss that tour. Because he didn't go, he couldn't get a new visa/re-entry visa. They sent the certificate for him to get the visa in April. Flip called it a miscommunication with the consulate, and there's no ill will between him and NJPW on either side. Flip hopes to get on this weekend's ROH shows and take bookings throughout June to make up for losing out on the tournament. Very frustrated, as you can imagine.
He got a visa last year for BSOJ and thought it was good for the year. When they noticed it had expired they sent him the paperwork for the new visa and he never got it"
UPDATE FOR CLARITY: He got a new visa in January that they thought was good. Not the BOSJ visa. But because he didn't go to the Honor Rising shows, he didn't get the re-entry visa and that January visa had expired, which meant he had to get the certificate that ended up getting lost
