IMPACT-AXS-NJPW
Added 2019-07-01 17:15:52 +0000 UTCVoices of Wrestling has revealed that AXS looks to be the new home of IMPACT Wrestling. We've reached out to Impact on the matter, as well as several others.
However, we quickly heard back from multiple names within New Japan Pro Wrestling when we asked about the potential of this leading to a working relationship. The sources said that IMPACT has already tried to fix that bridge, and while it was appreciated, NJPW has no desire to to do that, unless AXS were to acquire the company.

Couple thoughts here. AXS also features WOW Superheroes. An all women wrestling promotion which is run by Jeanie Buss who owns the Lakers and features Tessa as their champion (I think). Would have to think, while this is a big win for Tessa as the face of two promotions on the same network, the two companies at some point could be in tug of war for her exclusivity. Hopefully it doesn’t get that extreme. Also I wonder if there can be a relationship there to help further promote Women’s Wrestling. Second thought is that I hope Impact will still broadcast on Twitch. I don’t have AXS with my cable provider.
