So dark web enigma “rovert” is claiming that Scurll is likely to stay with ROH at least in the short term bc they are offering an insane amount, over what AEW/WWE have on the table. Without getting into his reliability, is this a smart move for marty/ROH? For Marty, cash is cash, i get it. But staying means working on a nearly dead promotion with tiny attendance and horrible creative, and also reportedly terrible management/medical treatment. Maybe big offers remain NEXT year from aew/wwe, but there is downside if he gets hurt or just plain isnt as over From ROH perspective, i get that they want to retain a top talent but i have to ask...if they have him NOW and their attendance is still plummeting...what difference is Marty really making to their success? Their issue is decision making, and throwing a godfather one year offer at Scurll seems like burning money. Scurll at double his salary or whatever with the same people in charge that put taven over him at MSG will still result in the same decline Arent both sidss better off walking away

Are NXT and NXT UK considered separate brands, or is UK just a subsection of NXT? They have different champions but the NXT Survivor Series teams had WALTER and Toni Storm who are considered NXT UK and not NXT. Is anyone else confused by this?

Can you talk about how you handle a source like Joey Mercury? I do not agree with Jimmy Van's take that you write him off immediately; regardless of his mental health issues or any addiction issues, the fact remains he DID work for ROH in a "management" capacity and therefore legitimately had access to information that's newsworthy. His ability to communicate and organize that information is obviously pretty terrible, but to me, you still have to examine it, verify it, maybe triple verify it, but you still have to use it. In my line of work i deal with people from all walks of life that supply information relevant to my job, and writing off someone just because of an addiction or poor background is impossible - i just have to dig into the context all the more. As one boss said, "in a play written in hell, you can't be surprise the cast is not full of demons." ROH, and sadly alot of the wrestling industry, is certainly a hellhole, so i imagine you can't report if you expect to only use squeaky clean, well-documented, crystal clear sources

I think they have taken a big page from WWE in trying to be "many" things - sports focused, diverse, comedy, characters, and it is very hard to be excellent at all of them, and easy to be bad or merely ok in some of them, to the detriment of the whole. The total is down, and the more important demo is solid but also down. To me, their performance VERSUS NXT is a false narrative thats entertaining but not the real story.
