The Cody Rhodes lashing angle bothered me because I don't think it makes sense for a guy who's a company executive in kayfabe to have to jump through all these hoops in order to get a match with a guy who isn't even a champion. 1) Forget Jimmy buying the ROH video library – it looks like Jimmy is gonna have a shot at the WWE video library! What do you make of WWE very strongly suggesting in its latest stockholder call that it will sell broadcast rights to its PPVs to another company (i.e. Amazon Prime, Hulu, Netflix, DaZN, ESPN+). It seems like that will provide a revenue stream to prop up its declining direct fan interest but . . . isn’t there not much left to sell after that? 2) How badly did WWE botch the network? They wanted 3-4 million subs when it launched and have barely cracked 2 (and only briefly). What do you think its biggest failure: poor user interface/functionality, lack of quality programming, or just a bleedover effect from a boring product on TV? 3) Speaking of the ROH video library, there apparently was news that ROH plans to put its ENTIRE library on Honor Club. Is Marty Scurll really going to win Executive Of The Year?!! (Well, not from Meltzer) 4) OTT is strongly hinting at Moxley working Scrapper Mania on 3/14/20, putting his logo in their video teaser. Isn’t OTT one of the WWE “affiliated” promotions (with a buyout clause even)? Would AEW let Mox work such promotions? If so, might he show up in . . . Progress? That would seem extremely awkward. 5) With all the insane teasing from both Matt Hardy and now Evil Uno (directly replying to Matt’s last tweeted video link), it would be a big disappointment NOT to make him the Exalted One, right? With the tease and empty promise of Marty Scurll on BTE, is AEW risking its cache amongst its base if they keep doing this? 6) Have you seen ZSJ/Ospreay from NJPW New Beginning in Sapporo, night 2? With a blend of grappling and Ospreay’s explosiveness it would seem right up your alley. Then again, Goto/Shingo was a good ol’ HOSS battle too 7) This would have seen insane even 2 years ago but . . . is KENTA a better wrestler than Nakamura? Does he have a better HOF case? Not that long ago Nakamura put on a MOTY with Styles at the Tokyo Dome and debuted with a banger against Zayn and now, what’s he doing? Getting toss around be Strowman? Meanwhile Kenta just main evented against Naito in front of 12k for the double belts
