Time?
Added 2024-09-09 18:33:27 +0000 UTCI'm working on The Mansion right now. And we will have time and weather (and timed events in the future).
Do you prefer to pass the time only when taking action (walking between rooms, crafting something, fighting battles...), or having a real-time clock (so even when idle, time will still flow)?

Iโm not trying to dismiss the idea, I want to initiate a dialogue on the pros and cons of the concept. I quite like it:)

2024-09-09 18:39:43 +0000 UTCIt's actually not too hard to apply to the game, and the game will still pause when you open the menu. However, most games don't use this time system, so I'm not sure. That's why I'm asking for you guys' opinion XP

2024-09-09 18:38:32 +0000 UTCThe concept of having time taken being tied to what you do during the day would make for a more dynamic experience. However I believe it would make for a harder gameplay experience and also a harder implementation as the player ought to have just enough time on their first playthrough to achieve what is intended by design.
