This was a nice "watch along". Don't remember seeing this performance before. I'll have to look through my DVD collection to see if I have this one on blu-ray. Maybe I do and just never got around to watching it. I hope I have it because it was a great concert., especially with ROR premiere.

He’s filled in for Hideki a number of times on tour too. Also, I always giggle at that purposefully cheesy original intro to RoR. Koba said: put your phones down and experience this live 🤣🤣. 🤘🦊🤘🦊

2025-06-12 06:06:35 +0000 UTCAs usual, I'm just adding my thoughts to this comment as I'm going, so sorry that it's not very coherent: It has never struck me before, but I think the intro is the same as in the previous London show? But they weren't that far apart, so it's probably not surprising. I like the bass during the Reggae part in Song 4. Very clean and with a very fitting feel. One thing I noticed during Rondo, Akatsuki and Megitsune: I'm not a big fan of the vocal harmonies in the backing track being so prominent. I think it takes away a bit of the live feeling. That being said, Akatsuki leaves me speechless every time. For some reason, I never name it as my favourite song, but at the same time it feels just perfect to me in every way. Moa and Yui sounded live during Megitsune. Sadly, we seem to be getting less and less of that recently (especially Yui ;-) ). Nice that you couldn't resist making a comment about drummer head bobs during Doki Doki Morning and then did it for him :-) I can almost see the BABYBONES drummer spooking around in your head. The crowd chant in Road of Resistance was pretty good for the first time, I thought. It was fun watching this with you! Looking forward to the next one, and especially Metrock coming up soon (hopefully).
