2024-06-15 02:12:06 +0000 UTCThe one about your mum taking the test: this was me a few days ago with my boyfriend. Not exactly, but basically I took the RAADS-R with my therapist in preparation for my official assessment, so she could include it in my report for the psychiatrist that’s gonna be overseeing everything, and my score was rather high. In this case I was the skeptical one, because I was quite ‘conservative’ with my answers (if something was in any way ambiguous, for example, or if I didn’t experience it very frequently, I’d just say I didn’t experience it—side note: they should really fix the wording of some of those questions and have more options for the answers) and I also felt like I answered a fair amount of questions ‘neurotypically’, whatever that means, so I couldn’t believe that my score was that high, and I asked my boyfriend to take the test. His score was so absurdly low, we couldn’t stop laughing. I’m guessing the test is reasonably accurate and I am just not nearly as ‘stealthy’ as I thought I was. Oh well.

She tried to throw us off with earlier videos saying she doesn't like to be called acoustic but the evidence has been right behind her the whole time and now she admits it! j/k if it's not obvious, this was more of an intrusive joke that popped in my head - I hope it's taken as silly, no offense is intended ;) On a more personal note, I say the wrong word from what's in my brain so often the people around me have learned it's a "Dan'ism" and they need to interpret / translate what I'm really trying to say all the time. Hmm... maybe this should go into "Is it just me"...
