I can't wait to re-watch Sub Rosa and imagine it through Andy's Sub Rosa virgin eyes. It will be glorious. I'm sure Andy thinks he's got a pretty good handle on the ceiling and floor for TNG episodes. I wonder if Sub Rosa is going to force a rethink on that.

I'd love to hear his commentary on seeing it the first time. Perhaps not if the episodes stuns Andy into silence... I've only seen it once myself. That was one time too many. 😬
2021-10-09 10:14:15 +0000 UTCMay I suggest that Crusher and Picard are having a separate adventure during this episode, perhaps someone has leaped into Picard Quantum Leap style and Crusher is the only one who knows. This explains why he keeps taking cues from her, they're just keeping it on the downlow while future Sam Beckett tries to fix future history. Also wouldn't this episode be better if the Cairns were just Cairn Terriers? Same plot and dialog just psychic talking dogs.
