Just wondering if you’ve seen season 3 or 4 because he really has a big character arc and changes. I disliked him at first because I felt Bakula was trying to be a hardass and always played him grumpy and I longed for the gentle thoughtfulness of Sam Beckett, but I have grown to see that Archer is great in his own way, especially how his relationship with T’Pol turns out.

2022-11-17 03:21:51 +0000 UTCUnpopular opinion, but I think archer is my least favorite captain in Trek. He is so thoughtless and only seems to have knee jerk reactions. There’s no seemingly calm thoughts before saying things. He’s like a teenager, even though he’s in his forties. Kind of my least type of person - someone who reacts without ever thinking about others’ feelings.
