Testing the synch with Game of Thrones
Added 2021-01-17 18:17:27 +0000 UTCIt seems that some people experienced lag with my full reactions of Game of Thrones so here is a mini test I did where the song and my voice are synched. Since this seems to be ok, the whole episode 6 should be ok (which will be uploaded soon). I can't upload more seconds with the song and video visible without being blocked.
If once I upload this episode you still have lags, let me know.

I can slow/speed the video myself before rendering so people won't have to. I will keep checking before taking any decision. And obviously, there would be 2 videos: the "normal" one and the "slower/faster", so that Europeans can have an option, and americans another
2021-01-18 09:30:50 +0000 UTCYeah, I suspect the old PAL vs NTSC is to blame here - different frame rates made for different markets, and different TVs (US vs European). Don't think there's an easy fix aside from what people are already doing (if the software supports) - ie slowing/speeding up one of the videos by a tiny fraction.

For example: when I record from Netflix, I first have to set up Google Chrome, otherwise, the screen remains black. Maybe HBO does something strange with frames or speed. But it's only a theory, obviously, I still have no clue.

I have the Version from HBO Max and it differs from the Version on Amazon for example. i follow several Reactors and my version had always a slower pace. I dont know why this is but i guess it is the difference between those Versions.
