What I've been doing for the past month

Hey guys,

Just wanted to break the silence with a little update!

I have had some time off this holiday and first half of january. I thought I'd be back in business right as soon as 2022 would begin, but for some reason I struggled a bit with finding the rhythm of making videos again. I almost got a bit scared thinking I was burned out!

However, last week I suddenly found myself getting the urge to create something in Blender again, so I spent two days recording a pretty comprehensive tutorial! I think it will be too much to fit in one video, so for the first time on this channel there will be a tutorial divided into two parts!

The first part will be about how to rig robotic arms in Blender, and the second part will be some more tips and tricks on how to make the robotic arms come alive! We'll also connect it to motion capture data! I think it's a really fun workflow, and I hope this could get people more interested in Blender and creating 3D art.

I also want to create a new series on the channel where the focus is more aimed towards rendering, and we can go deeper into camera settings, lighting and post processing. I feel like there often is a gap between the tutorial results and the cinematics I end up rendering myself. 3D rendering is the topic I care most about in the entire world I think, so a series entirely about rendering could be incredibly fun to make!

TL;DR: Currently working on a tutorial series about robotic arms. Also planning a video series exclusively about rendering.

Hope everyone is having a great 2022 so far, and I'm really looking forward to get this tutorial project done soon :) Stay tuned on instagram where I'll be teasing shots for the tutorial in the days to come!

Thanks for the support!

I am so freaking excited for these tutorials words can not comprehend, this has "awesome spiderman animations" written all over it, this workflow might work really well with CGeek's video on spiderman animations :O

This sounds super exciting, much looking forward to it all! Also: Let's take this as a kind reminder for all to "take a break before you break". It's worth it!
