Video Update

Hi guys!

This is just a quick update to say I'm going to have to push the video deadline back a week or so (I originally wanted to have it out next weekend, the 5th/6th). This is partially due to unforeseeable life stuff cropping up that stopped me from working on it for a while, but also because I took a look at the original Shiki novels and decided I wanted to read them before making the video as I felt they would really enhance my understanding of the series (and they have). The fan translation I found is only a bit over halfway through the series but that's still hundreds upon hundreds of pages so it's taken a bit of time to get through that. I'm really sorry for this oversight and for making you wait just a little longer for the next video—it's fair to say that this project has once again grown much larger in scope than originally anticipated.

The good news is that I finish the teaching segment of my Master's degree in June and hand in my last assignment in July, after which point I'm just working on my research project/dissertation until October. I'm already conducting the interviews for that right now alongside everything else so that from mid-July onwards I'll have a lot more free time and will hopefully be able to move back to something resembling my old one video per month schedule. Thank you for hanging in there with me throughout this incredibly hectic period, I really can't wait to be able to dedicate some more time to YouTube again soon and, of course, to share the new video with you all in mid-June.
