State of the Channel (September/October)

Hello wonderful patrons!

Wanted to give you a heads up on whats been happening this month and what should be happening next month. First off, September kind of turned into a wash. Got the Tomorrow People episode of Nick Knacks out, which I'm proud of, and there's a Reboot video I got out quickly just for the sake of having content, but a lot of things I wanted to do this month didn't get done, especially the You Can't Do That On Television video and Goosebumps Monthly.

There's a few reasons for this, if you follow me on Twitter you're probably caught up already. A big one is that I'm going to be spending the last week of September in California for family stuff. I knew about this ahead of time, of course, and had planned around it. But then, last weekend, I had a bit of a dental emergency, which has taken up a good chunk of my time and money. I'll spare you the details, but I'm not finished dealing with it yet, and will probably be getting treatments into the first week of October.

Another issue, the copy of Goosebumps #19: Deep Trouble just took WAY too long to ship. It's on me for not ordering it in a timely fashion, but a week shipment took three, and I finally got my copy right in the middle of all the dental stuff. I've finished reading the book and started scripting, but won't have the video done in time. I apologize for all of this, and promise there will be two Goosebumps videos in October.

Speaking of October, got a lot of content planned and a full four weeks to produce them in, including getting a good chunk of my more spookier requested videos done, but one thing I'm afraid I have to put to bed is the poll-decided Halloween video. It used to be the Goosebumps Annual, but since I'm doing those monthly know, we tried to change it to the Are You Afraid of the Dark Annual. Unfortunately, Youtube doesn't care for that, and I've been blocked in all attempts to get last year's AYAOTD video up. I uploaded it to Vidme last year,  but Vidme is no more, and I don't really have any great options.

I'm sorry, but I'm not sure what would make a good substitute, so there will be no voting on a Halloween video, at least this year. I hope I haven't disappointed too much, and I promise I'm going to work hard to improve the channel and the rate of output. The YCDTOTV video is going to be epic, guys.
