I did like the characters, the rhyming mouse, the interesting accents (I didn't know they were Canadian back then...I was in Florida). I think what really drew me in was the idea of a department coming to life with so much fun and magic after hours. It sounds corny now, but I loved it when I was a kid in a wheelchair who didn't have a lot of adventure in life. Watching this, I do remember how great the characters were, and the stories they told were pretty great...and the dancing!
