Wendy Walters is going to be one of the main characters in The Rivals, and the story will be told from her point of view. She's ending her fighting career with these warehouse matches just as Annika and Paulina are beginning theirs, and ends up becoming the coach for both women. And it's Paulina and Annika trying to force Wendy to choose one of them over the other that's really driving their rivalry to extremes.
