New Year's Rumble: Coming January 1st!
Added 2017-10-30 20:37:47 +0000 UTCSince boxing on New Year's Day has become kind of a big event in Japan, I thought it would be fun to do a short story about Katsumi heading home to defend her national title against a local rival.
It's not going to run too long, maybe 10-15 pages of action and a couple of pages of setup, so I'll probably just release it all at once on New Year's Day instead of a page at a time like my longer works.
Since it's set in Japan, I'm going to experiment with incorporating more storytelling techniques found in Japanese manga, like the speed lines in the top image, and the atmosphere will be more like some of the pro-wrestling shows you see there.
