Boxing Chess!?!?!?!

Instead of Chessboxing, I guess you could call this Boxing Chess:
2 teams of six boxers, composed of a Pawn, a Knight, a Bishop, a Rook, a Queen, and a King. The lightest boxer on each team must be the Pawn, and the heaviest must be the Queen. Kings take turns picking boxers on their team to "attack" boxers on the other team. The losing boxer is "taken off the board."
The rules for attacking are:
1. Pawns can attack anyone, but can not be targeted for attack.
2. Queens can be attacked by anyone, but cannot attack anyone themselves.
3. Kings can only be attacked once all other fighters on their side have been eliminated.
The match is over when all boxers on one side have been eliminated.

I get why you’re locked into it, but one absolutely fantastic idea the outcome is! Imagine the weaker team has a really tough king who ended up facing three or more opponents by herself (handicap match is always thrilling to me, which is a sorely missed variety from your stories since a long while back).
