To answer brings question about what's the deal with lithium batteries? Fire instant stuff?. This is purely my speculation... 1. it could be a backup plan for the reaper drone. 2. To put it in proper alignment because the device is stationary this sense of a firing mechanism and a reaper drone there is to monitor what's going on.

He could say what they got right, wrong and what he thought about their depiction of the technology. I'd tune for that bonus content
