I'm so pleased to bring you the cover art for this month's PF PATREON PORTFOLIO MAGAZINE! It features ISAIAH & CODA and I call this piece "HEATWAVE"! This is the line art.
I mean, I couldn't start GAY FOR SLAY #3 and not commemorate that with a special cover illustration for the PORTFOLIO!
You could say that I've been greatly inspired by the intense heat that British Columbia has been experiencing lately. It's been intense and really transported my imagination to this surreal setting that is hotter than Hell, for both this piece and the first few pages of GFS3!
You could say it's literally inspired me to grab ISAIAH by the balls! LOL!

You're right that beyond the actual image composition, I had to find the right "essence" with which to compose the look and feel of the illustration. You describe what I was aiming for beautifully, actually -- "covetous, lustful" -- those are definitely the qualities I wanted Coda to embody here, holding on to Isaiah's most intimate parts as if he owns him... the way such a creature would do! The wings do frame it nicely, but what I like is the possessiveness, arms wrapped around, wings in a frame. It's a demon, of course it would be possessive. Covetous, lustful, all those things, captured in that image.
