It feels like my favorite team up moments in the Young Avengers/Spider-Man (my current favโs). Like always, I CANโT WAIT!!!!!! ๐ฅฐ๐ฅฐ๐ฅฐ

I guess we needed to get to know Isaiah a bit more -- needed him to open up to us a little more -- in order to be so drawn into his life and story. I've fallen in love with this character VERY HARD, and I'm enjoying his journey immensely. I also sorta feel like the Gay for Slay issues and the mini-chapters in between make it the most coherent thing I've written AND illustrated myself in a long time. I'm super pleased about that. I love that with Isaiah, I can write a comic that isn't strictly a superhero/science fiction/ fantasy or horror title but that it incorporates elements of all of those wonderful genres. And you'll see, with this issue, we're going to see some familiar faces again and go to surprising "places" story-wise! Again, super thrilled you're enjoying it all so much! XOXOXO ๐ฅฐ๐๐๐ฅฐ๐๐

At first, I found it hard to connect with G4S, but as the storyโs developed, itโs become my go to, and Iโve grown to ๐ฅฐLOVE๐ฅฐ Isaiah. Heโs one of my favorite of your OCโs. I guess I have hit a real groove so far, knock on wood! I have to say, no other character except possibly Deimos inspires me as much as Isaiah. Other comics like ZAHN #4 have fought me every step of the way, and it kills me -- meanwhile, comics like Gay for Slay just flow, and while I wouldn't say "effortlessly", at least far more organically. Again, thank you for the love and sweet words. It feels TERRIFIC knowing this chapter is going over so well, so far. And yeah, more pages will be posted before the end of July! Oh, and also, I love that you're enjoying how wet and glistening Isaiah is here. I really wanted to convey how HOT the darn desert is and the glistening sweat and skin really helps with that, I think. Anyhow, MANY THANKS for all the kind words and love! It just makes me think about all of the other times he gets this sweaty... I definitely agree with Gandi, his already perfect body is looking particularly beefy! I really mean it, you have such an eye for eye-movement & layout!!! This page is flawless in its execution!
