Typically, I share covers AFTER I've shared all the comic pages to my projects, but this time I couldn't resist doing things a little backwards! LOL!
Those of you familiar with the classic Alpha Flight series will instantly recognize the inspiration here: John Byrne's iconic cover for issue #6.
I have to confess, this might be the fastest cover I've ever created – ha! – but honestly, the sheer nostalgia factor fueled every stroke. If I was going to parody Alpha Flight, it had to be based on my absolute favorite issue. So, consider this cover a delicious appetizer for the main course! The pages will start rolling out this week, so stay tuned!
