Happy Valentine's Day, my amazing Patrons! ❤️

What better way to celebrate the day of love than with a brand new Patron Saint Duo Commission! This one features ZACK and WADE from my husband's the INITIATION series, locked in some very playful wrestling fun! 😉

I've titled it "Wade's Revenge"... or maybe it's "Tough Love"? Either way, it was a blast to create for the wonderful Grady Wiehe. THANK YOU, Grady!!

I was thrilled when Grady commissioned my two favorite Initiation characters, WADE (another delicious ginger lad, and you know how much I love those!) and ZACK, recreating their iconic wrestling duel from "THE MATCH." Remember that one? It was way back in BOYTOON ADVENTURES #1 (written by my hubby, ROBERT FRASER, and drawn in my BRYCE PETERS, more cartoony style).

"The Match" has always been my favorite Boytoon Adventures story, so I was in heaven getting to revisit these two in my classic Fillion style. Talk about a trip down memory lane!

This piece felt perfect for Valentine's Day because, let's be honest, ZACK and WADE have a serious case of the secret crushes. Their wrestling match is just their adorable (and slightly painful-looking!) way of showing affection without actually, you know, admitting anything. Guys can be so complicated, right? 😂

I hope you all enjoy this drawing as much as I enjoyed creating it! Whether you're celebrating solo, with a sweetheart, or with friends, remember to be kind to yourself and others… and maybe lay off this kind of oyster-grabbing unless it’s specifically requested. Ouch!
