What a delicious Friday to share something special with you! I’m thrilled to unveil my CAPTAIN BRITAIN artwork, commissioned by the fabulous Phoenix Monroe through the Patron Saint Commission tier (thank you Phoenix for the awesome request!).
Now, let’s get real: I was a Marvel EXCALIBUR devotee growing up (I knew there are a few more of you here as well!), and I had it bad for BRIAN BRADDOCK, our strapping CAPTAIN BRITAIN, especially during Alan Davis’ iconic run. So when Phoenix requested this blonde Adonis, I was practically vibrating with glee to bring him to life.
Naturally, I had to draw the Captain in his classic hero suit, all noble and chiseled. But let’s talk about the real masterpiece: those gloriously snug green pajama bottoms from Excalibur #46–50. Buff, hairy, shirtless, swaggering, and leaving nothing to the imagination, those PJs were my teenage spank bank’s MVP! (No shame, darlings, we’ve all been there.)
I’ve whipped up a few variant versions for your viewing pleasure. The torn costume is a cheeky delight, but my heart belongs to the PJ-clad Brian… and, well, the fully nude version... but I gather I'm more than a little biased!
Feast your eyes, my loves! May is just heating up, and I’m cooking up so much more for you. STAY TOONED, stay naughty, and enjoy!

It was so much fun drawing this variant... and honestly, I think that the Nude version might be my favorite overall... because as much as I remember Brian in costume from Excalibur, it was his time OUT OF IT that made a lasting impression on me. And that nude variant... WOOF!! Brian certainly lives up to Excalibur's name with a mighty sword like that swinging between his thick thighs 😈🤤 stunning work, Patrick!!
