Laser Lass finally decides to work smarter not harder and deduces that Mondo Mongol has been going without his beloved morning smoothie for far too long. Racing past various onlookers and well-wishers, she makes her way to the Jumble Juice kiosk where everything began. There she finds Mondo Mongol regaling the kiosk worker/ undercover information broker with stories from the old days.

Like most of my stories, I had a general plan of how this one was going to go, and even went as far as thumbnailing the whole thing. It originally was supposed to run for twelve pages so you can tell how well that plan went. Working in a digital format where page count or physical media isn't an issue allows me the freedom to tinker with the storyline as it plays out. In this case, I was kind of bothered that we'd seen pretty much every (major) female extra in the story in some sort of undress, with the glaring exception of the worker in the Jumble Juice kiosk.

Normally, I would have let it go: no one asked about her, she only appeared in one panel, who cares if I miss ONE little background extra in my quest to pack as much incidental nudity into a single story as possible. Then I thought of a way I could do it while also satisfying another fairly consistent reader request. Thus, I moved the climax of the story from some random open field area of Awesome University's quad to the Jumble Juice stand. Hopefully everyone will like what happens in the next couple of pages or so.
