Added 2024-09-30 13:00:25 +0000 UTCClara has hit some setbacks in her jungle excursion, but as we can see she's equal to the challenge. At least Percival's load has been lightened, not that he couldn't handle it but sometimes I worry about the poor guy.
I had to do a last minute fix on this one, I got all the way through the pencilling, inking, colouring, and shading processes, did the lettering, considered it done, and finished three more pages before going back and noticing that Clara's right hand (the one in front of her body, not the one out in front of her that could have been easily fixed, oh no, can't have that) was about two sizes too small. Those of you out there who draw will know that this sort of thing can happen when you're drawing something that's complicated and detailed, like a hand: you'll zoom in, really get everything perfect, then zoom out again and realize that it's either way too big or way too small. Thing is, usually that kind of stuff gets caught in the inking process, not when all the colouring and shading is in place and now must be adjusted because I didn't realize I gave my jungle explorer chick one baby hand.
Luckily, it wasn't too bad in the end, it took about 10 minutes to fix, but it's still annoying.
Also, once again there's no nudity in this one, so as is tradition I will include a sketch that does feature nudity to make up for it. It'll be a separate post this time, but don't worry, you'll be able to spot it.
