Zoe (Pink Pandas make for fun Designs)
Added 2021-04-16 19:01:01 +0000 UTCSo, it's been awhile since we've done one of these, and I'd been so wrapped up in work that I hadn't gotten around to another one, I felt that sharing Zoe's design process would be a fun way to spend this month off, so here we are.
Zoe (Pronounced "Zo-ee" by the way) is the leader of the "Psychic Concord" and primary organizer of the group's activities and meetings. She's the one to bring all of these fine lads together, and they are her main priority while also closing out her degree. What she lacks in boundaries and restraint, she makes up for in loyalty and compassion.
Zoe's design had one of the clearest concepts in mind. A red-panda that dyes her fur/hair to be on the redder/pink side. I pictured her to have an almost punk-rock vibe, and that's roughly what we came up with. Cutting past Frozen's Elsa-Cut, the design came together pretty easily. For the hair the natural color that made sense seemed plain and we loved one of the sunset colors in one of the pallets but it seemed over-saturated, so we gave her hair those orangish-blondish highlights that you see in her final design.
The biggest design challenge that came from Zoe was the womanly figure. For those unaware, Shiuk is very male-art oriented. Thus, it took us another try to get a more accurate female figure, she needed wider hips and it needed to more closely match her shoulders unlike the average male physique that does have a wider torso. This was mostly to avoid confusion that Zoe might've been in transition, which we had a couple questions about.
