There goes a portion of my annual income. I already lost KoFi.
On a random future day I’m likely to lose this place as well.
That’ll be the end then.
Write your representative and tell them to withdrawal their support of KOSA, SOPA and PIPA. Tell them to support net neutrality, freedom of speech, and to protect sex workers and queer people, from these attacks on livelihood. Sex and art and art about sex are a part of life, a part of life we’ve been losing more and more of over the last few decades. Someday it’ll be gone.
The few weirdo rich people who control credit card payments shouldn’t be able to dictate the entire world’s media habits.

2024-07-29 18:40:03 +0000 UTCI appreciate the suggestions, thanks. They’re mostly social media platforms and a illustration printing shop. None would replace Gumroad (PDF sales) or if I lose Patreon (subscriptions). If I hear of any artists migrating to safe digital shopfronts/subscription services I’ll follow but the last few decades of internet policing have solidly shut most of them down unfortunately. My Itchio is still active, but sales there never compared to Gumroad, so it’s still a financial hit.
