Looking at this in retrospect.... it was so dirty from the staff of the show to put Gus' personal character growth moment alongside Luz and Amity's first romantic interaction. The people working on the show HAD to know how the audience was going to react, they had to know the stuff with Luz and Amity was going to overshadow the Gus plot... and im really bitter about it.... My Boy Gus deserved better.
