This is actually an older sketch of Aster from a few months ago that I dusted off. I couldn't figure it out at the time (which you can probably tell in the first draft lol) but I like the flow of it.
I've been thinking about Aster a bit because I'm actually starting to write the first past of the Temptations of Father Basil as prose, where he's a major figure in it.
It's also fun, in a story full of jerks with heart varying degrees of gold, to have at least one purely dirt bag character. He's just an egotistical jerk! Just a big asshole! He'll probably develop more as I write him but I'm looking forward to people reading his introduction.
This is an exclusive illustration! I've been trying to do at least 3 or more a month. I ended up being real tired for the last week or so but I'm feeling a lot better now.
