I don't know if this is exactly how this scene would go, but it's definitely an issue in their relationship. No matter how much he love Dandelion, Father Basil has duties on Earth and doesn't want to stay in Hell.
Ahhh, I feel bad because there was originally going to be backgrounds to this but then I immediately gave up on that. I haven't been that ambitious recently when it comes to backgrounds or environments lately. Just haven't had the brain juice for it. But I HAVE been working on the Father Basil prose recently, maybe I can do some fun environment illustrations for that. Or maybe just the next illustration I do I'll keep that in mind.
I do feel like a king whenever I can depict more complicated emotions of Dandelion, his design doesn't make it easy lol
