Yeah it's a huge contrast to when they were first learning from him. They were a bit disappointed that he wasn't there to save either Vegeta and Gohan. Goten's line "Gohan said that you were the strongest in the universe, so why didn't you save him?" hits hard. I mean, they listened to him regardless because they have a job to do, but it was definitely.... shakey in the start π

2025-02-27 21:09:58 +0000 UTCI love how after seeing Goku go Super Saiyan 3, the boys have so much respect for him now, calling him sir and standing at attention π. I also love the conversation between Goku and Piccolo, it feels so real. My favourite part is that Goku doesnβt actually rule out whether he could have beaten Buu if he had gone all out as a SSJ3, but rather, he says itβs not his place to do it, since heβs not even really meant to be here. Heβd rather prepare the next generation, so that when heβs gone for good, they wonβt be lost without him.
