Since last year, I have started thinking, “If I am going to see cherry blossoms, I want to go to a famous cherry blossom viewing spot”.
Until now, I had only seen cherry blossoms in my neighborhood in passing during cherry blossom viewing season.
So, I wanted to do something different, and I decided that from now on I would take a day trip and go to a famous cherry blossom viewing spot.
By the way, I went to Yoshino in Nara last year.

Yoshino is a very important place in the history of Japan.
So, I really enjoyed both cherry blossom viewing and learning about the history of Yoshino.
I plan to go to Arashiyama in Kyoto for cherry blossom viewing this year.
It will be my first time to go to Arashiyama, so I am really looking forward to it.
