Mama Morningstar! What is her game? She is a fantastic character I think, and like you makes us all wonder what her motivations are now she is here on earth. At the very least, as you suggested she is going to be another problem for Lucifer to have to sort out and I am looking forward to your reactions as we find out more and hopefully find out the answers to your questions. It seems like Amenadiel is falling apart (literally- well, his wings anyway) thus another interesting story arc is developing this season.

D Boss and Celia Fox’s comments were spot on, and expressed better than I could have done. First - thank you for pausing to share your comments! It is much preferable hearing them in full rather than when you stop as the characters start speaking, or you talk over what could be important details answering the WTF! question you just had. Like you, I also do not trust Mum. Lucifer described her as “cold and distant” after Dad started tinkering with his humanity project in the garage, hardly the actions of a loving mother. Even if she cares for her children and is telling the truth(?) about sending Lucifer to Hell to stop his father from destroying him, it seems she has another agenda that is motivating her rather than just the desire to be with her son. I agree that whether she loves him or not, she is manipulating Lucifer. She sure is hot though-especially wearing Maze’s clothes!

And there is something else... where that look she gave towards heaven may make sense wayyyy later in the series. And you are right, Ella will be an important and very likeable new character.
