Joined the Patreon as I want to rewatch Produce 48 so figured this would be a better way to rewatch it . All the emotional feels coming back . Near the end of the episode when they were ringing their parents you said the music was so emo and I thought I know that music . Turns out it's the Love Actually theme music, odd how stuff like that ends up in Korea but then I have heard of Korean Idols who love the film Sing Street and that's a musical based on a school that's not far from me in Ireland .

Watching again, now I understand why Woolim was so interested in the Juri, she really is someone with an aura of idol. Sakura was a representation of hope of Japanese idols and has always shown an air of ambition that attracts. Nako, it's no wonder she is a genius and Hitomi has such confidence. I love them both too much. <3

Love your reactions! It is so fun to rewatch this show now that I know all these trainees and where they are now. Like Sihyeon from Everglow and how much she has matured. And expecially the Woolim girls who will become Rocket Punch, who are all label mates with Eunbi and Chaewon. And Goeun and Jieun from RBW who are about to debut in Purple Kiss!

Btw. the girl in green (Min Young) that performed Celeb Five funny song and rapped afterwards changed her agency and is now in Hyewon's agency. Same goes for Go Yoo Jin (Blockberry). So there is a chance they plan to debut them along with Hyewon...

Juri (the Jp trainee who got a B singing Blackpink Playing With Fire) ended up debuting under Woolim Entertainment in Rocket Punch! As so far the only AKB48 trainee (who isn't in IZ:ONE obvs) to debut in an official Kpop group (after leaving AKB). Miyu will probably be next as she is currently signed under Mystic Entertainment

it's super interesting to me to see some of the trainess now that it's been so long since the show!! some of them have now gone on to debut in their own groups despite not getting into iz*one so it's definitely worth getting to know some of the other 96 trainees because u may see them promoting in other groups now!! even though they may have been sad they didn't make the top 12 at the moment they're all doing so well now which i'm so happy about :) for example haeyoon (the girl with the really good vocals, red hair with bangs that messed up in her video evaluation) is now the main vocalist of cherry bullet!! so happy for all of them and i can't wait to see you get to know the girls as u watch!!!

Cant wait for the next one already lol, and as someone who watched it after it aired i understand what you mean about being invested anyway. Im the kind of person that barely cries at all but some of these moments urgggm its really hard to see someone cry over something they want so much

Thanks for the reaction! :) Your PD48 reactions are my faves!! Also, this episode made me remember how mad people were over Sakura getting an A. I mean.. yes, I wouldn't have given her an A either but people were so mad about it, it was wild. Honestly watching shows like this live during its original run, not knowing the end results and all that, is always quite an intense viewing experience haha.
