Among those 4, especially for Red Queen, like you said it’s a song that can be interpreted in many ways, and I absolutely love both the song itself and the lyrics. It’s from IU’s Chat-shire album released in 2015, in which, as I see it, a lot of the songs deal with her relationship with the industry. She wrote Red Queen inspired by a self portrait of her friend Sulli (from f(x)), and although it is up to interpretation, I’ve always thought that the Red Queen she’s referring to throughout the song is her. After she passed, IU sang the song again in her Love Poem concert and changed the lyrics to the rap part, which I found very touching. Whoever had the idea to do Black Out and Last Night Story back to back is genius, it made for such a fun segment at her concert! Black Out is my second favorite of these 4 after Red Queen, I remember when I was listening to it for the first time and the guitar solo took me so off guard lmao. Also I love this lyric: “If you’re not Darth Vader, you’re my first love”. Hold My Hand has such a nostalgic feel, it makes me feel all cozy and happy. Love all of these 4 songs

2021-01-08 01:01:04 +0000 UTCThanks for the reaction! By the way, the choreographer for Weeekly I mentioned before is one of the 2 male dancers in the last night's story dance break. He was on IU's right (your left). And yeah, the last part of that video was the entire band. It was uber fun to see how awkward they were. IU at one point (not this video) forced her bodyguard to do this dance with her on stage. The behind the scenes for that was really funny. He was so reluctant to do so.
