Weekly Company Updates - 2nd Week of December (2023)

This week is likely the team's last full week before breaking for Christmas and therefore we're mostly looking for a good parking point that will allow for a quick pickup as we go into 2024. We aren't planning any major reveals over Christmas, however any smaller bits of progress or parts of the game that become available despite the time of year we'll continue to share with you all. From all of us here at Love in Space we want to thank you both for your continued support as well as making the release of Sunrider 4 this year both a memorable and successful release. We hope we can all continue to make memories together as we continue with this latest chapter for us, and that together we can continue to take the worlds of our games ever higher. Wishing you all and your loved ones a safe and happy holiday season with plenty of downtime so you can achieve all your plans.

Internal - In Progress

• Fourth Internal Build Version Tinkering Continued: Ongoing resourcing towards addressing the legacy issues as well as the bug list from early playtesting. This will remain the main focus until the team break for the Christmas period.
• Fourth Internal Build Version Tinkering Expansion: Further discovery and adjustments into requirements that would allow for the game to be brought to modern video game consoles. While early days and not something we can guarantee details on at this time, we hope this will be our first game that when publicly announced will show that it is coming to more than just PC. Controllers using Bluetooth have proven to be the most problematic format in playtesting, however we're confident we're closing in on a solution to better stabilise this across branded options.
• Sound: Continued assessment and tweaking of the game's soundtrack.
• CGs and Backgrounds: Below Decks of the Sunrider BG.
• Interfacing: Further prototyping and refining on the game's UI.
