Wrapping up Poke Abby VR
Deviant has just been putting the finishing touches on Poke Abby VR and I can finally grab his much needed attention for Dominatrix Simulator. (A little personal motivation goes a long way with him. 😘) He’s polished all the knobs, filled all the holes, lubed up all the pointers, and rooted out lots of pesky bugs. He’s even added a little easter egg for those who like things in excess. (For a good time, try out those eggplant buttons in the options panel.)
You will soon be able to grab the latest release directly from Oxo Potion’s itch.io page. We’ll let you know when it’s officially released.
Building A Story-Based World
We've had some great feedback from you about giving the player an opportunity to build a relationship with the Dominatrix character. We’ve pulled some past ideas out of the toy box and dusted them off to create a more immersive, story-based world within which our Dominatrix can better toy with her play things. Our primary goal is still for you to experience the joy of submitting to a dominatrix, but we want to give you a fantasy reality in which you can give yourself completely.
We’ll be posting about this much more regularly as we flesh out the project.
Selecting an Art Style
To whip up a quick prototype, Dev originally grabbed a fairly realistic model from the Unity Asset Store, but with the addition of fantasy elements and a world to go with our Dominatrix Simulator, we’ve decided to also update the artistic style of the game to match.
Drawing on our own love of anime and hentai, as well as stylized high poly games like Guild Wars 2 and Tera, we are hoping to find the right balance between style and realism that rings true, but avoids any uncanny valleys. Pictured above is a model from the Terra MMO that matches closely to the style and detail we are going for.
We’ll be using her as a test model while we look for an artist to create one appropriate for the game’s story. If you ARE a 3D character artist that is passionate about our concept, ideas, and style, please let us know!

DeviantDev here. I have played that one! Definitely a fun experience. We are definitely targeting a similar experience, but with more interactive fiction and behavioral training. Where that game basically has a 'click to proceed' interface, ours would be demanding you make certain poses or do certain actions and judging your response. Basically, we are hoping for a similar experience, but with more story and more stylized characters.
