I’m going to slow things down a little bit in the story and do a bit of character work. I read a review of Humanity Lost volume one the other day and the criticism was valid, He said that volume one was go go go all out action and not a whole lot of character development. Which is very true, it was intended to be a juggernaut of a bullet speed introduction to the world of Humanity Lost. I have done a bit of work to remedy this in issue 6, but I’m going to give the crew some time now in issue 8 to catch up and recover.

I imagine there’s some degree of that, like a very light touch, yes. I’m going to be exploring a bit of how the peoples of the Orion arm view him later on. I think some will see his existence as an endling as a rallying cry, something to unite behind. I think some will have specist animosity towards him because of Humanities responsibility for the creation of the All-Mother and I also think some Yarkeen will think he has a very expensive looking skull.
