This two page spread marks the end of issue 8, so once this is all coloured up and I’ve added the speech bubbles and lettering, I’ll finish issue 8 up by creating a nice handy PDF for you all to re-read through it all if you so wish. Only one more issue to go then volume 2 is complete, this feels like a huge milestone!
But yes, I’ll be back soon with the colours and added lettering before the weekend, that’s my goal. Thanks as always so SO much for the financial support, it’s what allows me the freedom and time to work on big pages like this where I can put everything I have into them.

2024-06-20 18:17:27 +0000 UTCI've not read the novel myself but ive looked at tidbits here and there, theres a superstructure called the Xeelee ring which to my knowledge isnt a weapon, but is still quite an interesting piece of megastructure engineering! Definetely gives post imperium earth vibes

There are definitely ways for the All-Mother to destroy Tandrax systems, but at the moment she’s biding her time as she expands her reach and power. She’s a tactician, she doesn’t want to provoke them when waiting would benefit her greatly. But I’ll look into the weapons you mentioned in the xeelee series, are there any in particular that you think are especially neat? I’ll definitely go into Psionics more in the future, yeah 😁

Do you think a star-engine's shield could be disabled by a powerful psychic without the need for brute force? Also if the Tandrax use self-replicating drones as their military couldn't the All-Mother just use an EMP or even just hack into and control them? Do you think you'll make an infographic explaining how psionics works and what it can or can't do?
