I don't have any more words to explain how much I adore this show and what it means to me so I'll just thank you for getting me to watch it. It's gonna stay with me for a really long time

I don't usually comment on things here, and of course I'm late, but I just felt like i had to say something upon finishing this one with you Kaia. I'm actually the same age as you and I can relate SO much to everything this show talks about and you are talking about. I think i had tears in my eyes during every single episode of this beautiful show, and whenever you cried i cried with you. What an amazing, nostalgic, heartwarming and healing journey that was. Growing up in the changing times, financial crisis, discovering friendship and love and heartbreak, following your dreams, moving far away from best friends and slowly drifting apart, this show hit every single emotional beat so well, it might have just healed something in me (also I absolutely agree on heedo and yurim friendship being the heart of this show, these two destroyed me, I'm such a sucker for close female friendships in media) I've been here for many years by this point, i think maybe from close to the beginning of this patreon, and its always a lot of fun, but this is the best thing I've watched together with you. Thank you for that, really.

2023-10-09 23:39:01 +0000 UTCWhat I love about the Yijin/Heedo storytelling is the parallel of the circumstances bringing them together (MF crisis) and the circumstances ultimately pulling them apart. A full, albeit unfortunate, circle. Yurim said, its better to have happened than to not have happened at all and I think that this is the perfect example of a bittersweet story. I dont know how anyone could've written it any better than this. I mean, not even mentioning Heedo/Yurim, and the entire gang really. This show seriously encompassed everything that a slice of life show should have and for that I love it so much. To the writers, the crew, the actors, just thank you

I was really going through some dark times earlier this year, but by some divine intervention I decided to give this show a shot. Good lord did I not expect it to have as much of an effect as it did on me. Everything the characters were going through were things that I had been struggling with in my life at the time, and it really picked me up and gave me a new perspective on life. Yes youβll have good times and shitty times alike; but at the end of the day, just learn to appreciate everything that brought you to where you are now as well as learning to cherish the people in your life right now, cause you never know when that bond will be gone. :) Lastly: 1. Your face when you thought Yijin died was absolute comedy gold cause I had the exact same reaction π 2. Only in K-Dramas can your standards raise for a damn breakup lmao

This is also one of my favorite shows of all time, the friendship between Heedo and Yurim is one of the best that I've seen potrayed on screen. I'm so glad you love this show as much as I do!
