2023-12-12 20:27:21 +0000 UTCSince episode 1 Jay was one of my pick because he did not give up and he just say what is in his mind. Same with Sunoo who has to really work hard as well. So I distributed my votes to Heeseung, Jay, Sunghoon, Sunoo, Jake, Daniel, K, Niki, Jungwon. But I gave more votes to Jay, Sunoo, Heeseung and Daniel. You can tell Sunghoon face lit up when he gets in the ice🥰. Also, Heeseung, Jungwon and Sunghoon buying gifts for the rest of the boys. They are so thoughtful even picking clothes that they think the other boys will like.

2023-04-13 13:23:45 +0000 UTCI agree with everything you said about the Flicker team and K, but I also want to add that K is Japanese and even in the clips from this episode, his Korean is not only less than perfect, but he struggles with it more than the other foreign contestants. K and Hanbin are at the age where learning a new language is a real struggle, and Hanbin doesn't talk as much as K - as far as we could see from clips and videos. But I noticed, rewatching this with you, how he would search for words and say that he didn't understand. I think it was both a lack of understanding of the team as people AND what they were saying. We saw him go back to speaking Japanese in many episodes, as soon as he could. He definitely a person that can get stuck on his ideas and in his head, but I'd say the language barrier still played a role in all the communication struggles in I-Land, especially between him and Heeseung. On the other hand, while I personally understand Heeseung and his worries about confrontation, I also think he arrived in I-Land pretty sure it was his last chance at debuting, and he saw himself getting the shortest end of the stick many many times while doing his best to help everyone and while being held in such a pedestal from the others - especially at the beginning but in part 2, too. The pressure was really high and he was always in a position of leadership one way or another, for whatever reason and he didn't want it. He never did but he always had to bear the consequences of being a leader with a very strong opinionated and straightforward person like K - but not just him. I'll be forever grateful for Sunghoon. He is not only really good at learning his parts, whatever they might be, but he also exceeded the low expectation half of the judges had of him - in general, not this episode. And all that while being the only one trying to always check on everyone's feelings, especially people like Heeseung, K and Jay - in the episode when they switched places. I was so glad they choose Jake because his improvement was so clear that he proved that he could do it, he just needed a normal amount of time and he was ready to work really hard for it. The Heeseung, Songhoon, and Jungwon trio was SO adorable with their day off and buying gifts for the others. I actually prefer this version of Flicker, in a lower key, than the version they gave to ENHYPEN. Do you have a preference? No tears in this episode and just one elimination for the next one, but no spoilers as to why! Have a nice weekend!

They were so cute buying gifts for everyone 🥹 So happy for Jake because he was so worried. I think the producers were talking about the Flicker team being all badges because they were scared that maybe it was like last time with Taki who choose the top ones ranked and they had difficulties with the song. But we know that Heeseung choose them based on the vision he had and who fitted the song

2023-04-05 03:33:24 +0000 UTCI-land Pt 2 was truly so stressful for Heeseung he lost a lot of weight and only recently gained it back within the last year or so. I hope people understand how caring and how introverted he truly is. These leaders positions weren't something he wanted but rather was forced to do as part 1. He still talks about how traumatizing this show was for him and his confidence.

2023-04-05 03:00:38 +0000 UTCyay!! you guys finally understand the RAS meme now🎉💕 also you’ve met honey jay! lol you’ll meet corn jay and butter jay sometime in the future, after debut. in my opinion, the man kept some of his american traits, even though he moved out of the states when he was 10. you guys are so close to the end, i really want to see your reactions for the next few episodes, but at the same time i don’t want it to end🙈 just a heads up, if you don’t know already, episode 12 is almost 3 hours long…hope that’s not spoiling, just trying to help with your planning. 🙃

Honestly, his personality and mindset made a huge impact on me. He is just so unique person to me… He is so straight forward, cool, has this worrier spirit, but at the same time can be vulnerable, cute and funny. I couldn’t resist his charms TT Always true to himself, so thoughtful and caring… I can go on forever tbh. Also kinda happy there’s no elimination this time, they let us rest for a bit and I can keep going with my day :’j Have a great day 💙

Honestly, his determination and confidence are really commendable and I admire him for that a lot. Also the resentment, anger, embarrassment thing is such a meme I love it XD

2023-04-04 18:19:24 +0000 UTCGreat episode of two great performances. Oh man yeah the two team dynamic were so different but like you guys said they’re all learning. I agree that the both were kind of at fault with the Flicker team like you could tell 4 of them were super comfortable with each other and K was kind of left alone but like they said it was because he was the oldest plus the way he obviously unintentionally took leader position from Heeseung, even with the vocal thing kinda put the blame on Heeseung when he wanted to do live vocal practice which I didn’t like, like you said the things K does can be understandable but the way he approaches things is not friendly but I wish the other 4 spoke to him a lot sooner in the end I’m glad they fixed everything. I think generally I preferred the Flicker team as I liked the song and dance better but I gotta give it up to Jay he’s just such a likeable person in I-Land and I’m so glad he got to debut in Enhypen. I loved the little outing of Heeseung, Sunghoon and Jungwon, one of my favourite moments from I-Land even the behind the scenes of it is so precious, all three of them are so kind and considerate. Yeah no elimination means no tears thankfully, but I can’t wait for the next episode if I remember correctly it’s my favourite episode from the whole show.
