The thing I hated most when watching this the first time, was that K ranked 7th in global voting but got passed over for Sunoo by the producers. Mind you, I knew what the result was and that K already debuted with &team by the time I watched the show... I love Sunoo, can't imagine Enhypen without him, and I think they made the right call because he completes the group's dynamic in a way that K would not have done. Also, I can't imagine &team without K. But if I'd been a fan from the start of the show, I honestly think I would have been very upset (both mad and hurt) about the result here until time proved that it would work out. The thing I loved most the first time through was Bang PD telling K that he would be with him and help him achieve his dream of being on stage with Enhypen, as long as he kept pursuing that dream. (Okay, it was supposedly directed to all the eliminated participants, but K had literally just expressed that desire, so it felt like it was a direct response.) Watching that exchange again now is even sweeter, because I've seen the Enhypen x &team special stage where they perform "One in a Billion" and "Into the I-LAND" as a group of 16... with 11 of them from this show.

2023-05-09 19:09:05 +0000 UTCI felt bad for BTS and TXT members because they had to sit there for so long for the live show waiting for the members of ENHYPEN to me announced. They could have done the show a lot shorter. But I understand they have to wait for the final counts for the members who will debut because it’s a live show. The producers choose Sunoo because He was very popular with viewers votes from the beginning of the show and he fits in with ENHYPEN. Later on when they announced that theirs going to be a Japanese group they listed some of the names of the group which were K, EJ, Taki and Nicholas. Enjoyed your comments throughout the shows. 😂💕

Still I wish for my self that this is the last time I'm rewathcing iland, it is so hard to watch, my heart hurts every time. BTS being this nervous at least lightened the mood!

One thing I wanna mention about iland and my thoughts on why they probably choose sunoo as the producers pick: as you guys also said sunoo still showed growth and was talented but I think another reason is because he added something to enhypen that still wasn’t there. He’s shining very brightly (like the sun :) ) and had a bubbly but also honest and interesting personality which made him also very loved among global fans and he’s still even now very popular under casual listeners of enhypen. The producers knew that he can pull many fans not only with talent but also his personality. I think K rather had the role of an Ace but heeseung was already announced as part of the line up and therefore was already the representive Ace and center so K wouldn’t have added something new into the group (think about it in the tests it was always either k or heeseung as the center and both of them had kinda the same ‘roles’) and Daniel was still very young and still wasn’t ready to debut! So I think its very smart of them to choose sunoo, he’s really enhypen’s sunshine <3

2023-05-02 18:25:53 +0000 UTCI cried the whole time watching this and rewatching this. I remember being so relieved for Heeseung and I was SO scared when they weren't calling Sunghoon. And then, when K didn't make it. I admit, I was mad, especially since many solo stans had started rumours and - basically - a smear campaign against K. So it was bitter, initially, to watch how it ended for him. I'm just glad he is in &Team now and goes bowling with Ni-ki and Ta-ki when they can.

But thanks god they saved them all. Can’t imagine Enhypen without anyone of these 7 precious boys.

2023-05-02 16:12:28 +0000 UTCI loved the moments they showed us of them reuniting with all the other participants, them having fun and practicing together was so precious and made me cry even more when they all performed Into The I-Land, one of my favourite performances, it showed everyone’s growth plus the lyrics, it’s my favourite song from the show. Those interview moments with BTS members was so awkward and funny, I felt bad for our I-Landers though, their emotions was probably all over the place like you can just tell by their faces. You guys realised now why we hate the announcement, I normally skip it on my rewatch’s but I sat through it with you guys again. I also hated how they announced their number of place and number of votes like what was the point but to obviously create drama and view’s instead of just saying ‘the next debut member is’ but I loved their comradery, their speeches 🥹 how they always hugged each other after every announcement. The Sunoo moment always gets me he was meant to be in Enhypen, I truly believe things happen for a reason and as sad I was about K, he got to debut and so many other I-Landers too. I loved this journey of rewatching with you guys it was like reliving it with my friends, thank you so much for this amazing ride and I can’t wait to continue to watch even more content with you guys. ❤️

I'm glad he's in &Team with others that were in I-land too and hopefully Daniel will debut soon

2023-05-02 15:02:20 +0000 UTCi cant imagine what watching this live must've been like!! i was very shocked when sunoo placed 8th in votes because he always had a pretty big gap between him and 2nd.... but then i realized people probably thought he was safe so they voted for more at risk people not realizing that so many others would as well dropping him a lot. watching this even with knowing who debuted was still stressful lol, thank you for watching and reacting to this!
