2023-08-24 00:37:11 +0000 UTCHow i feel watching the survival once again? well...i watched it several times and i always cry ( idk why i can't no cry if i watched it so many times lol it still hurts me watching them like that) and i always get mad at this man called jyp. I'm not okay with the way he treats them and the bad things he said to them hurting them, making them lost confidence and doubting about themselves, that's not how u supposed to help them grow as artists or whatever, cause he wasn't helping them. he was like destroying them. I'm sure he could have said the lacks and stuff in a better way and motivating them to overcome that in a healthy way. I agree with tori , i understand what she said, they are a group made by themselves not the company, they are like independent so is contradicting what he did. And yeah i guess you'll figure it out how they ended up together but still.. i don't get it, this man.. i think the show just likes drama and drama but it can become a trauma for them and like i saw in a comment, i.n for example, there's things that stayed with them. And WHY? why did he eliminated Lee know? he was rapping for the first time and didn't have enough time to prepared it, its normal that he maked a mistake and yeah im not profesional but i listened his vocals better than the first time(in hellevator) so maybe he did a bit of progress. I understand than is a show to debut but..giving him a little more time to get comfortable with rapping would have been enough there's no need to eliminate him. Also when they were like practicing the test day they cut off a part where chan got really "mad" at Han and Han answered him and then Chan left the practice room (u saw that in like the end of the episode 3 like a "previous episode" but then he came back and give Han a birthdays cake and chan acting like that was a joke (not in the episode of today but the part that they didn't put in this episode cause he had to left so he can take the cake) han and chan explained this in an episode of two kids room.So this proof that the show wanted drama. Anyways i'm ready to cry more cause i give up on trying not to cry hahaha. See u at friday !! i hope u're doing well. ily <3

2023-08-18 19:07:13 +0000 UTCOkay but the bit at the end where you guys talk about /why/ this show was being made if they're going to do eliminations and just. not stick to it. I've had a theory on this from when I watched it, that JYP knew exactly what he was going to do in that final episode, atleast by the end of episode 5 by the way I know it was received. Unlike other elimination shows where its more about choosing members to debut, I think a large part of this show for JYP was building hype and gauging popularity/marketability of such a unique group, not as much about the eliminations. Which makes it so much more cruel when the eliminations do happen because you have these teenagers who think their dreams are on the line, and can't afford to think otherwise, which applies to all survival shows, but unlike other shows, I think JYP knew halfway through that he wasn't going to stick to any of the eliminations. He did somewhat of the same thing with Twice's elimination show - he eliminated some and then just..did what he wanted in the end and it felt like everyone was hurt for no reason when it could have been avoided. same thing repeats here, I HATE episode 5 so much I never watch it π it must also be noted that this is THE ONLY time in the past 6 years that minho has cried where we could see. with the way the boys talk about it, they also make it sound like it might be the only time he's ever really cried in front of some of them (or he just doesn't want anyone to know so they don't talk about it) it just makes this entire thing so much sadder π

2023-08-18 19:00:16 +0000 UTCAll trauma, frustration, and sadness aside the fact that Chan, Hyunjin, and Seungmin named their song 4419 after a bus they have memories on. It's very symbolic and kind of a coincidence? But they had their very first music show win on 4/4/19 with Miroh. So I just think it's so cool that there is some kind of connection between where they started and where they start seeing success for their music.

I understand that JYP know what and how to polish them to survive in the industry but the way he delivers his feedback is so annoying plus Lee know only trained for a month, he could've give him another chance like another week maybe, to show that he can improve and debut with them. I read somewhere, I'm not sure how real it is, apparently, Lee know walked home under the rain as he think he don't deserve to take a cab. π€§π

There is more footage - I mean, what he said isn't wrong (at around 13:25 in the video) that they need to take it seriously. But he was harsher on Han bcause it was part of a prank. Like, fake angry and then walked out, and came back with a birthday cake for him. Bang Chan confirmed this. Mnet did not include the part of him coming back with the cake. I remember seeing a still photo of the room with them all standing and with the cake, but I can't seem to find it to share the link with you. But yeah, this was that scene.

2023-08-18 14:31:28 +0000 UTCYou might have already heard this, but Jisung and Chan mentioned in their first 2 kids room together that the day they were showing their stages to each other in the practice room, it was actually jisung's birthday and chan was especially hard on them because it was a birthday prank but mnet never released the footage showing them revealing it when chan brought a cake in as part of the ep just to be extra "dramatic" i guess.
