Update: WW2 Soviet Motorcycle Video, Collab & Video Shortlist
Added 2021-07-11 19:57:12 +0000 UTCWe've done most of the research to start producing a video looking at the Red Army's Motorcycle Units during World War II. These were the main reconnaissance elements of Soviet tank and mechanized formations from the battalion to corps (division-sized) and army (corps-sized) levels. They'd form combined arms teams in league with medium/infantry tanks, armoured cars, motorcycles, mortars, AT guns, and submachine gunners mounted in armored personnel carriers. They were also notable for being among the few type of units to use Lend-Lease equipment as a rule.
We're also working on a collab with another large Youtube channel that should be coming out this month. If you like sci-fi/worldbuilding/military fiction writing, you'll be in for a treat.
We've also updated the video shortlist spreadsheet available to Sergeants and Sergeants Major with potential ideas for videos we may pursue in July and August. You'll find that in the benefit links on our website.
