New Order of Battle Graphics & February Video Dates

Starting with the upcoming videos since that's what you're paying me for:

• February 8 - An overview of the Mexican Marine Corps' history since independence (spoiler an American was its first commander) and how its role evolved to where it is today, with a focus on why it is perceived as one of the U.S.'s most trusted partners in Mexico. Organizationally the video covers the high-level force structure (how the navy divides its forces, how many battalions and brigades there are, etc.)

• February 17 - A follow-up that in-depth at the organization and equipment of the Mexican Marine Battalion from squad to battalion level. I've been emailing a Mexican Marine to elaborate on some things and this video will also have details about their rank structure as well, which is somewhat unique

These were originally going to be just one video, but it would've probably been 45+ minutes and I think in terms of the ground they cover it makes sense to split them up. The reason they have specific dates is because they have hard sponsorship deadlines. I'll probably be able to get them out a little early for Patreon. There could be 1-2 additional videos in February but I haven't decided on what yet.

As for the graphics:

• Mexican Army Military Police Special Operations Battalion - Essentially a SWAT sort of unit. Each of their 12 Military Police Brigades is meant to have one of these battalions in theory. Included is a dedicated riot control company and an EOD platoon

• Mexican Navy Marine Battalion - The Mexican Navy has like 45 of these battalions (although not all of them are "Type A". I don't know what the difference is from the other types, but a strength of 628 personnel has been standard since at least the 2000s). BIMFUSPAR (their parachute battalion) is also structured like this. I'm not exactly sure how their 4 "Amphibious Marine Battalions" (BATAIM) under their Amphibious Marine Brigades (BRIGAIM, kind of a MEB equivalent without the aviation) are structured but they may be similar.

• U.S. Army Transportation Railway Operating Battalion (1962) - A U.S. Army transportation unit responsible for operating the smallest self-contained railzone (division). It had the ability of maintaining and operating 90 to 150 miles of railway or a major terminal and warehouses/depots/etc within a 20 mile radius. It could operate up to 40 locomotives and 800 cars a day.
