If you are part of my discord server, you may have seen my message last night about this one being a grind. I was pulled away from the studio on Wednesday, so I had to get everything done for this yesterday. That meant write the song, write the script, animate the video, do any extra artwork I needed, edit the video, etc. I generally like to split that up across 2 days because as you can see, it's a lot to do.
BUT that being said, I did it, and I think it came out really good! The tournament arc is underway, so I thought it would be fun to do an homage to the music of DBZ (the Japanese music specifically). There are certain techniques that the DBZ composer, Shunsuke Kikuchi, used that really stand out to me, such as steady one note bass lines, brass melodies, and weird little plucky stingers. So you'll hear some of those techs in this song as well. :D
